Payment Plan Terms of Service
This Payment Plan Terms of Service (Payment Terms) is a binding legal contract made between you and Sentry Credit Inc. (Sentry Credit) containing the terms and conditions that you must comply with and are bound by if you enter into a payment arrangement through Sentry Credit’s payment portal to electronically pay amounts you owe on your past due account placed with our office for collection.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THIS PAYMENT PLAN TERMS AND CONDITIONS (PAYMENT TERMS) CAREFULLY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE PAYMENT TERMS YOU SHOULD NOT SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE PAYMENT TERMS, AS UPDATED FROM TIME TO TIME.
GENERAL CERTIFICATION You certify that you are the obligor on the account Sentry Credit Inc.. is seeking to collect.
PAYMENT AMOUNT(S) AND MANNER You hereby acknowledge and agree to the payment amount(s), frequency, and manner that you chose by opting for a specific plan on Sentry Credit’s payment portal reached through a link in our digital communications (our “Payment Portal”). The amount, frequency, and manner you opted for are an integral part of the payment arrangement and include the following: current outstanding balance; starting date for the plan; frequency of payment; number of payments for the plan and dates; payment amounts for the plan; total discount (if any) (your “Payment Details”).
The Payment Details you chose are emailed to you after you authorize the plan or one time payment. Payment confirmation emails as well as payment reminder emails (if you authorized multiple payments), will be sent to you through email—unless you request to receive these payment confirmation and reminder communications through a different medium such as a letter through the U.S. Postal Service. To do so, please call and speak to an Agent at (866) 611-2731. Sentry Credit will not charge for this service.
PAYMENT PROCESSING DATE: Sentry Credit will attempt to process all payments by 11:59pm Pacific Time on the date in which the payment is made or scheduled by you. Sometimes, depending on the system processing times, the payment will be processed on the very next day. Depending on the payment method, the payment may take up to 8 days to post and clear from your account. In the event that an outage with the payment gateway prevents processing a payment on the date authorized, Sentry Credit will process the payment as soon as the system outage has been fixed.
REGULATION E CONSENT & DISCLOSURE: When you provide bank account or debit card payment information to Sentry Credit to process a payment, you authorize Sentry Credit either to use the information to make an electronic fund transfer from your account.
ONE-TIME CREDIT CARD AND ACH AUTHORIZATION: If you are making a one time payment by credit card, debit card, or ACH, you hereby authorize Sentry Credit to debit the bank account or credit card you entered in our Payment Portal for the noted amount on today’s date, or the date on which your payment is scheduled. This payment is made towards your outstanding balance owed to the creditor. You understand that returns, refunds, and cancellations may be subject to fees and penalties imposed by your financial institution which will be solely your responsibility. In the case of an ACH, debit, or credit card transaction failing or being rejected for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) you understand that Sentry Credit may attempt to charge again within 30 business days of the payment failure. You acknowledge that origination of ACH transactions to your account must comply with U.S. law. You certify that you are an authorized user of this card or bank account and that you will not dispute the payment with your credit card company or bank so long as the transaction corresponds to the Payment Details you selected.
RECURRING CREDIT CARD AND ACH AUTHORIZATION: If you are making a recurring payment by credit card, debit card, or ACH, you hereby authorize Sentry Credit to debit the bank account or charge the credit card you entered in our Payment Portal for the noted amount on the scheduled dates. This payment is made towards your outstanding balance owed to the creditor. You understand that returns, refunds, and cancellations may be subject to fees and penalties imposed by your financial institution, which will be solely your responsibility. You understand that this authorization will remain in effect until the scheduled end date, or until you cancel it in writing, whichever comes first, and agree to notify Sentry Credit at least 7 business days prior to the next payment date. In the case of an ACH transaction being rejected for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) you understand that Sentry Credit may attempt to charge again within 30 business days of the payment failure. You acknowledge that origination of ACH transactions to your account must comply with U.S. law. You certify that you are an authorized user of this card or bank account and that you will not dispute the payment with your credit card company or bank so long as the transaction corresponds to the Payment Details you selected.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If you want to cancel a payment please call us at (800) 608-2581 or email info@sentrycredit.com. A payment may not be eligible to be canceled after it has already been processed. To request a refund please call us at (800) 608-2581 or email info@sentrycredit.com.
ADVANCE PAYMENTS: At any time you may pay additional payments to Sentry Credit, outside your Payment Plan payments or you may pay more than the amount due in each payment of your Payment Plan.
DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS: Sentry Credit reserves the right to offer or retract discounts and promotions from time to time at its sole discretion.
COMMUNICATION METHODS CONSENT: You consent to be contacted by Sentry Credit, our agents, representatives, employees, affiliates, or anyone contacting you on our behalf, in any manner, including but not limited to, mail, telephone, SMS (text) messages, pre-recorded/artificial voice or message, automatic telephone dialing system, e-mail, direct drop voicemail, or any other communication method.
By opting for a specific plan, you expressly consent to Sentry Credit sending, and you receiving, payment-related communications, including but not limited to payment reminders, payment confirmations, account updates, and billing notices, via email at any time of day, including outside of standard business hours (which may include Sentry Credit sending and you receiving emails between the hours of 9:00 pm and 8:00 am), to facilitate the timely processing of your payments.
You also certify, represent, and warrant that you are permitted to receive communications at any telephone number, email address, or other contact point Sentry Credit has on file for you and that you have responded from. You further agree to promptly notify Sentry Credit if you discontinue the use of a particular telephone number, email address, or other contact point. Additionally, you agree to inform Sentry Credit of any shared email address or telephone number in which you do not consent to messages being left or sent. You also consent to the monitoring and recording of telephone communications between you and Sentry Credit.
PAYMENT PLANS AND DISPUTES: If you have an open dispute and you choose to make a one time partial payment, the one time partial payment will not impact your dispute. Your account will remain disputed. Outbound collection activity will remain paused, with the exception of the payment confirmation communication about your one time payment.
If you have an open dispute and you choose to set up a payment plan, you will cancel your dispute at the time of your first successful plan payment. Once the first plan payment successfully processes, your account will be in a payment plan status and you will receive payment reminder and payment confirmation communications. If you do not want to cancel your dispute, do not set up a payment plan. If you change your mind after setting up a payment plan and wish to report a dispute, you can submit a new dispute through the online portal (which you can access through any email you received from Sentry Credit), by contacting our office at info@sentrycredit.com, or (800) 608-2581 during business hours.
If you are making payments on a recurring plan you can submit a new dispute through the consumer account pages reached through a link in Sentry Credit’s digital communications, by contacting our office at info@sentrycredit.com, or (800) 608-2581 during business hours. Your payment plan will be canceled and your account will be in a dispute status.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Additional terms and conditions apply to our website (www.Sentry Credit.com) and services including our Website Terms of Use, E-Sign Disclosure and Consent, and Privacy Policy which are made a part of this Payment Terms by this reference. You agree to abide by such other terms and conditions.
PRIVACY POLICY: Your privacy is important to Sentry Credit. When you use our Service we collect both identifiable and non identifiable information about you (“Information”). To learn more about how Sentry Credit uses Information and keeps Information safe, read our Privacy Policy at: https://www.SentryCredit.com/privacy-policy.
E-SIGN DISCLOSURE & CONSENT: This E-Sign Disclosure and Consent applies to all records and communications delivered electronically by Sentry Credit Inc. (Sentry Credit).
- Electronic Form. You agree that Sentry Credit may provide you with records and communications in electronic format. This consent includes, but is not limited to, all legal and regulatory disclosures; communications; notices.
- Manner of Transmission. You agree that Sentry Credit may provide the records and communications referenced above (i) by email, (ii) by access to consumer account pages reached through a link in Sentry Credit’s digital communications to you, or (iii) to the extent permissible by law, by access to a website generally designated in advance for such purpose.
- Withdrawing Consent. You may withdraw your consent to receive the records and communications electronically by contacting Sentry Credit toll free at (800) 608-2581 or at info@sentrycredit.com. Once we process your request to withdraw your consent, your access and use of Sentry Credit’s digital services, including emails and text messages with information about your account, will terminate. Any withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic records and communications will be effective only after we have had a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal.
- Updating Your Information. You are responsible for providing Sentry Credit with true, accurate and complete email address, contact and other information related to this E-Sign Disclosure & Consent and the Sentry Credit Inc. Services and to maintain and update promptly any changes in that information. You can update your information by contacting Sentry Credit at (800) 608-2581 (toll free), emailing info@sentrycredit.com, or filling out a form on the consumer account pages reached through a link in our digital communications.
- Hardware & Software Requirements. In order to access, view and retain the electronic records and communications, you must have:
- An internet browser that we support, which include Internet Explorer 10.x or higher, Safari 3.2.x or higher, Firefox 32.x or higher and Chrome 38.x or higher, Mac OSX Safari 5 and higher, Safari for iOS 6 and higher, Chrome for iOS, and Chrome for Android;
- Local, electronic storage capacity to retain records or communications or a printer to print them;
- A valid email account and software to access that email account;
- An up-to-date device or devices (e.g., computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) suitable for connecting to the Internet and supported by Sentry Credit Inc..;
- An operating system capable of receiving, accessing and displaying records and communications from Sentry Credit in electronic form via text-formatted email or access to our website using a supported browser.
- Requesting Paper Copies. We will not send a paper copy of records or communications unless you request it or we otherwise deem it appropriate to do so. You can obtain a paper copy of your electronic records and communications by printing it yourself or by requesting that we mail you a paper copy. To request a paper copy of any particular record or communication, contact Sentry Credit at (800) 608-2581 (toll free) or info@sentrycredit.com. Please make sure to state that you are requesting a paper copy of a particular record or communication. We do not charge a fee for providing a paper copy of records or communications.
- “In Writing” Designation. All records and communications in electronic or paper format from Sentry Credit to you will be considered “in writing.” You should print or download for your records a copy of this E-Sign Disclosure & Consent and any other electronic records or communications important to you.
- Federal Law. You acknowledge and agree that this E-Sign Disclosure & Consent is being provided by you in connection with a transaction affecting interstate commerce that is subject to the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, and that you and Sentry Credit Inc.. intend the Act to apply to the fullest extent possible under the law.
- Termination/Changes. Sentry Credit reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to discontinue the provision of electronic records and communications, to terminate, or to change the terms and conditions under which it provides electronic records and communications. We will provide you with notice of any such change or termination as required by law.
- Consent. You hereby give your affirmative consent to receive electronic records and communications as described in this E-Sign Disclosure & Consent. You further agree that your computer or other device satisfies the hardware and software requirements specified above and that you have provided Sentry Credit with a current email address or cell phone number at which it may send you electronic records and communications.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND EXCLUSIVITY: YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS PAYMENT PLAN TERMS OF SERVICE, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT IT IS THE COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND SENTRY CREDIT, AND THAT IT SUPERSEDES ANY PROPOSAL, PRIOR AGREEMENT, OR UNDERSTANDING, ORAL OR WRITTEN, AND ANY OTHER COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOU AND SENTRY CREDIT RELATING TO SERVICE. THIS AGREEMENT MAY BE AMENDED AT ANY TIME AND FOR ANY REASON, AND ANY SUCH CHANGE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE UPON POSTING TO THIS WEBSITE. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CHANGES.
